Spend the day spelunking at Cumberland Gap National Historic Park or visit the Crockett Tavern Museum, a frontier heritage museum, which is built on the site of Davy Crockett's boyhood home. The town of Morristown caters to the park lover. Panther Creek State Park and Cherokee Park actually border Cherokee Lake. Enjoy hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, and bird watching--all just minutes from Turner's Landing.

Golf enthusiasts will discover 30 golf courses within a 50-mile radius, including the beautiful Dandridge Golf & Country Club. Courses range from easy, 9-hole greens to a challenging Tennessee PGA Tournament course.
